In my work as a voice teacher and brand coach and as a biracial human, I mostly try to create programs and offers and even lesson structures that I wish would have been an option to me. (Gonna be chatting about some lesson structures in my broadcast channel over on IG.)
I grew up without a person to talk to about my biraciality and as an adult I don't have a lot of folks to talk to that experience the same things as me, being a vocal social justice voice, as well as a known safe entity. When I look back on my life, there are so many times I wish there was space for the discussions I have on my patreon pod and blog. The next pod is going to be chatting about "To Kill a Mockingbird" and the next blog will be on the "disillusionment of perfection in leadership spaces". Violinist Aja Majkrzak: A Snapshot in Time: I'm making my way through the 30 Mazas etudes for violin. Every Monday I'm releasing a video of me sight reading the etude to Patreon. Then I'll use that video to diagnose what to work on through the week and release a video on YouTube by the following Sunday. The idea is to share my process and what kind of progress can actually be made in one week. Like any live performance, these videos are just a snapshot in time.
