July 'But Also'

Hey hi hello!

Every month I think I'm going to get this out in time to not have a recap, but here we are again at the end of the month with a bit of a recap.

July happenings included a performance with Journey North Opera Company in their Changing the Narrative. Here's a little clip from my intro. I performed a piece by Amy Kennedy & Moira Finley written for myself and Clara Byom five years ago (or so.) The full video is available over on my Patreon.

I then spent two weeks teaching at St. Paul Conservatory of Music's Summer Music Camp. It's astounding to see how much kids can learn in a short period of time AND it is hard work - bless you school teachers who do this all year every year. One highlight was seeing my Broadway class create and perform their scene from start to finish - I really just got to be a facilitator and that's my favorite way to be.

Soliloquy reached the $500 mark and I donated all of those funds to CAAPA. More on Soliloquy in the NEW NEWS Seg.

And lastly with Opera Reading Project, I was able to help select their next IDEA Fellow - its always a gratifying experience to see diverse talents in the opera world and I am so honored to be ORP's diversity consultant.

And now here we are recovering from camp and resuming the teaching mantle of my WONDERFULLY full studio (more on that coming up)!

NEW NEWS:

Voice Studio Openings I've got a couple seniors leaving their weekly spots and so I'm going to welcome TWO new students into the studio. Here are the requirements: voice students (any genre except rap & metal), adults/older teens available before 4 pm CST, and wanting to remove the entanglements you've placed upon your voice. Let's get you free, instead of trained.

Branding Offers Branding Express and Branding Bundles are available to you - check out my last email for more.

Soliloquy I want to raise another $500 (we've got $485 to go) and get the album up to 500 listens (we have 300, so if 30 of you listen to every track we're there!) AND I'm going to feature a track a month over on my Patreon - I'll cover the composers, where to get the music, the challenges of learning it, and potentially more. Head over to Bandcamp & Patreon to keep up with the journey.

Voice Audits are still available for $25 a pop. Send in a video and I'll get you set up for success on that piece!

Nail Your Intro Masterclass will remain my pay what you can offering thru August 15th! I didn't market it well cuz, hey July recap lolol. So we're gonna try again. Here's the blurb again: "in this Masterclass you'll learn my top tips for crafting your own bada$$ intro for the audition room, online live openers, and beyond. We'll craft each person's intro with a couple exercises and then we'll present and craft them to a group to make sure you're confident enough to take it back into your everyday life." Sign up for FREE today to reserve your spot, I'm capping this one at 5 people to keep it intimate and so I can serve each of you!
